Our very own earth home
We’ve been living in our own earth home for several years. Thanks to the thermal efficiency of our home’s design, we have no furnace, no in-floor heating, and no air conditioning units, meaning there is no ductwork installed anywhere in the structure.
All our energy needs are powered by electricity, generated by 17 solar panels on our property. These solar panels produce even more electricity than our house uses, and we receive rebates from Xcel Energy for every month we live here.
